Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payment Processor at Adjusting Experts, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments, reviewing insurance claims, and ensuring accuracy in estimate reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance claims processes and will work closely with our claims team to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing: Accurately process and record payments related to insurance claims, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and regulations.
- Claims Review: Collaborate with adjusters and claims specialists to review claims, ensuring proper documentation, accurate estimates, and compliance with policy terms.
- Estimate Review: Analyze damage estimates and associated costs to confirm accuracy before payment approval.
- Claims Communication: Work with the claims team to resolve discrepancies, follow up on outstanding claims, and ensure timely payment resolutions.
- Data Entry: Enter claim and payment information into the system, maintaining accurate and organized records for all transactions.
- Compliance: Ensure all payments are processed in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines, particularly insurance-related regulations.
- Customer Support: Communicate with clients regarding payment statuses, assisting with inquiries related to their claims and payments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of payment processing experience, preferably in an insurance or claims environment.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of insurance claims, damage estimates, and policy terms.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with claims management software and payment systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
- Technical: Experience with payment processing software and claims management tools is a plus.
- Language: Bilingual is a bonus if you speak both Spanish and English.
