The Regional Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple pediatric medical practices within a designated region. This role ensures consistent practice management, operational efficiency, exceptional patient care, and staff performance, while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Regional Practice Manager supervises Practice Managers and plays a pivotal role in strategic planning, team development, financial management, and quality improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with assigned divisions to create a strong, positive work environment.
- Create a high functioning team; to include talent management, people development and team building.
- Ensure all medical practices provide exceptional care to patients.
- Provide direct supervision for assigned Practice Managers.
- Support staff, remove barriers to effectiveness.
- Recognize staff for accomplishments.
- Set clear expectations and provide follow through.
- P&L responsibilities for assigned divisions/medical practices.
- Collaborate with the practice leaders to analyze, summarize, report and manage practice performance, to include organizational key performance indicators.
- Ensure the effective and compliant operations of assigned health center(s).
- Play an integral part in recruiting and hiring for new and replacement roles.
- Streamline and standardize workflows across the enterprise.
- Ensure successfully implementation of Quality Programs.
- Develop and maintain strong and lasting practice partnerships.
- Strategic and proactive planning within the overall line of business.
- Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develops, implements, and monitors department budget; manages expenses within approved budget constraints.
- Responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to engage employee population.
- Responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to engage patient populations.
- Collaborate with internal support teams as needed (e.g., Finance, HR, IT).
- Identify and seek opportunity for organizational growth.
- Execute all necessary contractual requirements in a timely manner.
- Understand and track risk metrics related to the success of assigned practices.
- Host 1 on 1’s with all direct reports on a weekly basis.
- Manage budgets, review/approve expenses, and other tasks consistent to P&L responsibilities.
- Other duties as identified and/or assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Master's degree highly preferred
- 4 years of management or supervisory experience
- Experience working and managing large teams
- Experience in insurance, benefits or healthcare highly preferred
- Experience in Payor Quality Management
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong working ability in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must demonstrate ability and aptitude to lead both local and virtual teams
- Must possess skills necessary to influence others and work cross-functionally, navigating within a multi-state organization; Possess ability to manage ambiguity and the organizational acumen to establish effective internal networks
- Experience in developing executive level relationships including negotiation, presentation
- and polished communication skills
- Must demonstrate a passion to make a difference

Work Environment:
- Frequent travel within the region to visit practice locations.

- Exposure to blood, chemicals, and other bodily fluids.

Compensation - negotiable, dependent upon experience:
Starting at $85,000.00

Salary - Salary Plan, 85,000.00 USD Annual
