What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Adkev Inc.?
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The basic function of the position of Warehouse Supervisor is a working supervisor able to provide direction and coordination of all shipping and receiving activities to obtain optimum efficiency and effectiveness of operations and inventory management. The incumbent is required to train and attend to all duties and responsibilities and maintain standards in accordance with stated requirements and IATF16949 standards.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Warehouse Supervisor directly reports to and is accountable to the Plant Manager
The following functions and/or positions directly report to and are accountable to the Warehouse Supervisor:
Shipping & Receiving, Tote Cleaner, Plant Utility
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Schedule shipping/receiving/utility duties as needed
- Manage tote inventory and report needs to customer service
- Fill in for warehouse personnel when needed
- Perform routine visual checks of shipments/audits
- Participate in QCR resolution, corrective actions and containments
- Verify product and matierals being used meets lot tracability requirements
- Maintain daily communication with management
- Support and maintain 5S with emphasis on Safety
- Facilitate International Logistics
- Assess training needs of personnel
- Complete performance evaluations
- Monitor and report absenteeism
- Support company and OSHA safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Maintain that all assigned personnel remain certified 100% in all duties and responsibilities
- IATF16949 standards, process, or duties assigned are performed as defined within Adkev, Inc.?s IATF16949 program parameters
- Will cross train and maintain certification in other duties as directed by Plant Manager
