We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the position of CAD/CAM Manager at our company.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of dental models, implants, and other dental structures using CAD software. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of dental anatomy and anatomy knowledge. The CAD Manager will work closely with our dental laboratory and dental office teams to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and are HIPAA compliant.

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Increase the overall efficiency of the CAD/CAM department by developing, coordinating and enacting policies, procedures and productivity standards

• Train new team members, and monitor the team’s performance and quality of output designs and manufactured parts

• Organize and oversee work schedules and assignments of CAD/CAM team members

• Offer constructive and timely performance evaluations

• Coordinate sending of any repairs offsite with the OEM or repair vendors

• Perform CAM for Full Arch and other complex restoration millings as needed

• Responsible for understanding and monitoring the software of all milling machines

• Run and perform maintenance on equipment including but not limited to manufacturing CNC milling machines

• Assist as needed with research and development projects

• Troubleshoot any basic issues with CAM programs

• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• 5 years dental laboratory experience as a CAD/CAM laboratory technician or leader

• 2 years in a managerial role

• Prior working experience with the following software programs: 3Shape, Exocad, Meshmixer and other desktop scanners and software

• Developed skills in time management, problem solving, organization and communication

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other department managers and staff

• CDT certification preferred

• Bachelors’ Degree or relevant experience
