What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Delivery Driver position at ADL Dental Laboratory?
ADL Dental Laboratory is now taking applications for a part-time delivery driver position. You would mainly be responsible for driving between our dental lab and dentist offices, picking up and delivering cases (small boxes of dental materials/devices), along with any other errands needed. During any downtime you may do anything from putting together boxes, cutting bubble wrap, sweeping floors, etc.
Attention to detail, a positive attitude, along with knowledge of Louisville/surrounding counties/and Southern Indiana, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test at any time are all required of this position. Previous delivery driving experience a plus.
Our delivery drivers are the "face" of our business, they see the dentist and the dentist office staff the most. You must be able to dress and act professional and have a great customer service attitude at all times.
You will be in one of our company vehicles (small compact cars) most of your shift. You must be able to obey all traffic laws at all times and be comfortable in traffic (do not apply if you have "road rage").
We are open 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Thursday and 8:00am-12:00pm on Friday. Drivers are sometimes required to come in early or stay late depending on how many runs we have that day. We are currently looking for a driver to work Monday - Thursday about 8:00am-1:00pm, with the ability to cover days off for other drivers if needed.
Pay is $10.00 per hour.
