Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a motivated and committed Process Engineer for the manufacturing operations in Athens, TN (off of I-75 freeway between Chattanooga and Knoxville).
Duties and Requirements of the Job
- Expertise in CAD software for process design or similar drawing software.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and chemical processes.
- Fanuc or ABB Robot programming and troubleshooting.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, generate reports, and inform decision-making.
- Diagnose issues within production processes, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
- Monitor process variables to ensure product quality meets specifications and identify deviations requiring corrective action.
- Design new manufacturing processes, including equipment selection, workflow layout, and operational parameters, and implement changes effectively.
- Evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and productivity through data analysis and process modeling.
- May work 2nd shift occasionally.

Payrate is approximately $70,000-80,000/HR (Payrate may change depending on experience)
