What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Cleaner 2nd Shift position at Adler Pelzer Group?
The following are the major duties and responsibilities of the Industrial Cleaner:
- Coordinate with maintenance team.
- Reduce the amount of flammable material accumulated on the infrastructure of the plant reduce the risk of fire.
- Remove material over piping, tubing, I beams, equipment, etc.
- Remove material built up over electrical equipment, especially motors.
- Properly remove, segregate, and store hazardous materials and oil.
- All other duties assigned as required to support the plant and its operations.
Physical and Working Environment
Manufacturing Environment with heat extremes in summer months. Must be able to work at heights more than 20 feet with appropriate safety equipment. Frequent, walking, climbing, and standing. Medium work (up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently).
Tools, Software, Equipment
Permanent tools: Lifts units. (Boom lift and Scissor lift), Infrared Camera.
Consumables: Brooms, rags, degreaser, etc.
Small tools: Tool box controlled by team leader.
Compressed Air.
Fall Protection and other related PPE.
