We have a CF program for new grads that guarantees you mentorship time with your CF supervisor each week!


We continue to hire to meet the demands of our patients and rapidly growing referral lists. We pay a guaranteed annual salary which is negotiable.


Adler Therapy Group specializes in delivering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology for pediatrics, adolescents and adults. We also have a dedicated Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Clinic as well as an Augmentative/Assistive Technology Clinic serving all ages including infants and toddlers as well as adolescents and adults. Our specialty clinics offer personalized evaluations to determine the individualized needs of each and every client.


Essential Job Functions denoted with (E):


Evaluation:

  • E Review physician’s referral and patient’s relevant medical records (as available)
  • E Conduct interview with caregiver/parent/patient to obtain relevant background information
  • E Administer standardized and/or informal assessments to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairments.
  • E Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders based on outcomes from standardized assessments and/or clinical observation
  • E Document findings in an initial evaluation report using an electronic documentation system to include caregiver/parent/patient report, clinical observation, results and interpretation of standardized assessment, and functional communication deficits, with patient goals developed in collaboration with parent/caregiver/patient
  • E Input appointments into an electronic documentation/scheduling system


Treatment:

  • E Perform treatments based on current evidence-based practice.
  • Provide educational information to patient and family about treatments utilized.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Create and update home carryover plan throughout the plan of care.
  • E Complete all documentation within the required timeframe (daily notes, progress notes, recertifications, discharges, etc.)
  • Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, such as augmentative and alternative communication and sign language.
  • Educate patients and family members about various topics, such as communication techniques or strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings.
  • Participate in conferences, training, or continuing education courses, to gain knowledge of new hearing or speech disorder treatment methods or technologies.
  • Collaborate with other professionals relevant to patient care to provide a team approach.
  • Consult with and refer patients to additional medical or educational services.
  • Consult with and advise educators or medical staff on speech or hearing topics, such as communication strategies or speech and language stimulation.
  • Design, develop, or employ alternative diagnostic or communication devices or strategies.
  • Develop speech exercise programs to reduce disabilities.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
