We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Industrial Maintenance Technician II in Boca Raton, Florida!
The Industrial Maintenance Technician II role ensures the proper operation and maintenance of all utility systems, takes corrective action and repairs equipment as necessary and provides appropriate notification and documentation of all work performed. This position performs general maintenance on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and various maintenance and repairs within a GMP manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Adhere to all ADMA SOPs, procedures, policies and federal regulations in the operations of the facilities.
- Ensure utility areas are kept reasonably clean and free of debris or clutter.
- Handle repairs and maintenance on equipment, as well as assigned work orders. Notification of appropriate personnel as needed. Create and maintain necessary documentation of these repairs.
- Install plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical equipment such as sinks, pumps, circuit panels, refrigeration, WFI, boilers, HVAC chillers, air compressors, motors, etc.
- Maintain inventory to ensure adequate parts and supplies are on hand. Complete purchase requisitions for equipment and parts as needed.
- May assist in special projects and/or construction projects. Duties may include demolition, renovation, and new construction.
- Perform routine Preventive Maintenance on boilers, stills, air compressors, pumps and other assigned equipment. Generate and maintain the required documentation.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of technical or vocational training is required. Equivalent experience may be substituted for technical/vocational experience. Florida Licensure as a Plumbing, Electrical or Refrigeration Technician required.
Experience Requirements:
Three years previous general maintenance and/or construction experience together with the ability to read blueprints are required. Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is preferred. GMPs and ISO regulation knowledge are needed for this position.
