The Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials to support our manufacturing operations. This role includes fulfilling material requests from production staff, managing inventory through cycle counts, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Daily tasks may involve breaking down material packaging, supporting document digitization efforts, and ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in a cGMP manufacturing facility. Additionally, the Material Handler will assist with warehouse organization and maintenance, contributing to the overall success of our production team.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Supply: Ensure production runs smoothly by supplying materials to manufacturing as needed, fulfilling process orders, reservations, and requests from production staff.
- Packaging Breakdown: Breakdown and discard material packaging to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Warehouse Support: Assist warehouse staff with daily operations and other assigned tasks.
- Document Organization: Support the digitization and organization of physical documents in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Additional Tasks: Be ready to take on other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and production operations.

- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of material handling and documentation.
- Time Management: Effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Must be able to lift, push, or pull equipment up to 50 lbs. several times a day.
- Standing: Ability to stand for long periods.
- Cold Environment: Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures (-5°C) for extended periods.
- Stress Factors: This role involves handling large quantities of human blood plasma, where attention to detail is critical to avoid costly errors.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior experience in warehouse or inventory management is a plus.
