We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Parts Inventory Associate in Boca Raton, Florida!
The Parts Inventory Associate is responsible for managing the asset management, parts and materials inventories, stock room, real time reporting, departmental metrics, and purchasing needs. This position will also assist in managing the computerized maintenance management system to develop PMs and calibrations as needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Complete purchasing requisitions, build spare parts inventory, replenish spare parts as needed.
- Spot buy parts, communicate with vendor on parts ship date and arrival times, regular updates.
- Follow good housekeeping practices to maintain an organized and clean spare parts inventory area.
- Work with maintenance staff to build a spare part list for critical equipment. Build a PM parts kit for each PM task.
- Follow departmental SOP’s, and other related regulatory and cGMP files related to Facilities operations.
- Complete assigned training on time.
- Design and create procedures, templates, forms to grow the parts department.
- Create work request notifications, work orders, equipment and instrument templates, and real time reporting templates.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience Requirement:
A minimum of 1 year of experience involving inventory or parts management.
