What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of School Nutrition Program position at Administration Building?
General Function & Scope:
The Diretor will oversee all aspects of the district Child Nutrition Program (CNP) operations. The job functions include administrating, planning, directing, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the program in order to meet the nutritional and educational needs of children, as they relate to the CNP. The school nutrition professional shall work closely with the district's Food Service Management Company (FSMC) as well as partner with others in the school district and community to solicit support for the development of a sound nutrition assistance food program while following federal, state, and local guidelines. The CNP is to provide an environment that supports healthy food habits while maintaining program integrity and customer satisfaction. The Director will also be responsible for the district's catering and concessions operations, and participate in various advising committees.
Position: Full Time
Contract: 12 month
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience in Child Nutrition in the school setting preferred
