What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Custodian position at Administration Building?
260 Days/Year M-F during School Year (Summer hours may vary)
shift varies; to be reviewed with supervisor/approx. 22-25 hours a week
Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and general appearance throughout the Administration building.
- Follow custodial assignments provided by supervisor
- Assist in planning activities that contribute to maintaining or improving building appearance
- Perform light maintenance tasks as required, e.g. light tubes and bulbs, furniture and shade repairs, etc; spot wet mop spills, etc. daily
- Report to supervisor any problems beyond scope of work or ability
- Maintain knowledge on proper use and care of custodial equipment and cleaning materials
- Maintain adequate supplies and generate requisitions for replenishments
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Cleaning or Custodial Experience Preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- Must be able to communicate and interact effectively
- Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151 Clearances Required
