Warren Consolidated Schools is seeking applicants for the following position for the 2024-2025 school year:
School Nurse
1.0 FTE
District Wide
The School Nurse oversees the individual health needs of students; implements health care plans directed by physicians; ensures district health practices comply with laws relating to student health issues; provides appropriate immediate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students; conducts mandated health screenings and identifies health problems for referral to appropriate parties for proper follow up treatment; and serves as a health care resource to teachers, staff, and administrators.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and/or Professional School Nurse certification through Michigan Department of Education preferred.
