Primary Location:
Nampa, IdahoBlow Mold Operator: The Blow Mold Operator is responsible for the general performance requirements, quality, and visual specifications off all Blown Bottles. They will operate specified machinery and complete quality measurements to produce a quality part that meets performance standards by performing the following duties.
- Starts and operates machinery to the specified standards.
- Inspects and evaluates operation to verify conformance to specifications as well as performs maintenance on machinery.
- Adheres to Stat Process Control.
- Utilizes Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.
- Notifies appropriate foreman or supervisor of immediate or anticipated problems in bottle blowing process.
- Exchanges blows molds to different bottle sizes and performs production rotation.
- Makes routine adjustments to machine controls and guides, consistent with standard operating procedures.
- Performs cleaning of machine parts and surrounding area.
- Removes jams and stops machine in circumstance that may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment or product.
- Fills out and maintains required production logs and status documentation.
- Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment.
- Wears company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for bottle blowing operations.
- Completes all required Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.
- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
Starting Pay $20.00
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
- Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats. Ability to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to effectively use basic hand tools, such as screwdriver, pliers, hammer, and wrenches. Must have good hand/eye coordination to monitor and adjust bottle blowing line. Must be willing and able to work as a team player.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Forklift Certified by company. Obtain and maintain OSHA forklift safety certification.
