What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Assembler position at Admiral Lake and Pond Restoration?
Hello and thanks for taking a look at our open position! My name is Charlie - I am the hiring manager and VP of Admiral Lake and Pond Restoration, a small business located near the Chanhassen/Excelsior border, right on the shores of Lake Minnewashta.
My company and I are looking for a couple good candidates to help us maintain high quality standards in the assembly of our lake and pond products.
Skills/Qualifications include:
- Proactive with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in order to obtain top quality results.
- Mechanically-inclined with the necessary dexterity and experience to operate common hand tools and processes.
- Hard-working and diligent in all tasks - stays busy and accomplishes work efficiently.
- Good listener that is able to take direction and learn quickly.
- Honest, trustworthy, and of classic values.
- Well-rounded and flexible to perform a variety of tasks effectively.
- Communication skills in order to effectively speak and interact with others.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing materials for assembly using a variety of hand tools and otherwise.
- Assembling parts, subassemblies, and whole products using various hand tools according to established procedures.
- Verifying specifications and measurements.
- Ensuring parts fit properly and troubleshooting any malfunctions.
- Performing repairs on used and/or damaged products.
- Boxing and shipping products.
- Ensuring the work environment is clean and safe.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good, working condition.
- Assisting on a variety of new product development initiatives and otherwise.
We offer flexible hours (currently we are hiring for both part-time and full-time positions), a unique, close-knit small business work atmosphere, and a varied day free of most of the monotony often associated with assembly jobs (among others).
