Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant
Location: Westchester, NY (Onsite 4 days per week)
A leading real estate investment firm is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant to support its Lease Administration team. This role balances administrative tasks with accounts receivable responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply daily payments (Lockbox, ACH, wire transfers) to tenant accounts.
- Process security deposit refunds and bounced checks, including tenant communication.
- Prepare and distribute rent increase letters, tenant statements, and billing adjustments.
- Maintain records and track key deadlines for real estate tax filings.
- Assist with tax appeals/appraisals, including preparing reports and Letters of Authorization.
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1–3 years of experience in administrative support and accounts receivable (real estate experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, mail merge); MRI Software experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 potential annual discretionary bonus.
