Description of Responsibilities
The travel pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients in an acute care setting. This includes ordering medications, performing pharmacokinetic calculations, and monitoring patient responses to therapy. The pharmacist will also be expected to participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the pharmacist will be required to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medication orders. They will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and applying this knowledge in their daily work.
