POSITION PURPOSE
Adobe Provider Group is a primary care services team for Yuma, Cochise, Santa Cruz, and Yavapai counties providing quality health care for Southern Arizona. Centers of excellence include in-home/in-clinic wellness assessments, preventative care, and screening. We are an integrated health solutions company that specializes in customizing programs for insurance groups, providers, hospitals, and families.
The Adobe Provider Group Medical Assistant has the responsibility of treating the assigned members and meeting the quality measurements outlined in the contract under the direction of the Adobe Provider Group Primary Care Provider. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude in providing customer service and quality care.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively within a team setting to provide positive patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate professional, appropriate, and effective communication with patients, families, and other team members to ensure the continuum of care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, following HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
- Will be required to travel to assigned members’ homes with Primary Care Provider.
- Adheres to outpatient treatment center policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality care.
- Drive mobile primary care clinic, set up, and clean the clinic each day of use.
- Phlebotomy, appropriate and safe handling of blood and bodily fluids.
- Perform in-home preventative care testing and education.
- Perform in-home safety checks, collect data, and make recommendations to prevent readmissions.
- Perform CLIA waived tests as directed by the Primary Care Provider.
- Schedule patient appointments, take messages and give patient results under the direction of the provider.
- Performs EKGs, PFTs, eye exams, and other needed tests as ordered by the provider.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS
- Must be MA certified.
- High School diploma with some healthcare experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
