Our Android mobile team is part of the larger Adobe Video organization, building video creation and editing experiences across desktop, mobile, and web. You will work with Product and Design partners to create new features and experiences.We are looking for a hardworking and self-motivated, Software Quality Engineer with proven industry experience building Android applications. You will help drive overall quality and influence product direction, working closely with developers to ensure we are delivering high-quality features providing accountability and ownership for everything you do. Come work with us!What you'll do :  Provide independent leadership of large product areasServe as key resource in at least one of the following areas : understanding the needs of the product's target users, familiarity with the feature sets and behavior of competing applications, or writing detailed requirements for featuresWork closely with a distributed team of designers, developers, and quality engineers on the design and specification of features Critically think about how consumers will interact with the software being tested, and turn those thoughts into action items like stories and bugsPlan and execute test activities in all aspects of a mobile video editing applicationCreate test cases (acceptance, performance, functional, etc.) that ensure proper functionality of all implemented featuresPerform hands-on testing of daily builds across multiple Android devicesWork closely with iOS team and iOS app to ensure workflows across platforms work as expectedFile accurate, comprehensive bug reports, and verify fixesWork in an agile development environment, coordinating with other teams to help ensure proper workflows throughout the entire app experienceProvide accountability and ownership for all task assignmentsWhat you'll need to succeed :  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience10 years equivalent QE industry experienceExperience testing application software on Android (iOS, Windows, and Mac OSX are a plus)Experience editing video with mobile and / or desktop tools Passion for testing software, and a curiosity / excitement for technologyDemonstrated knowledge of QE methodology, processes, and toolsExcellent communication skills, both verbal & writtenGood time management and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detailAbility to achieve results with little supervision or directionFlexibility to move between tasks and sometimes across teamsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,700 $245,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
