The Opportunity
Adobe is looking for an ML Services Engineer to bring new and exciting AI/GenAI based capabilities to its flagship products. As part of the Applied research organization, you will partner with Adobe Research and business units to deliver innovative ML/GenAI powered cloud services in order to light up exciting new product capabilities. You will join a team of dedicated engineers in growing the cloud offerings behind some of Adobe's most successful and innovative creative products.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $142,700 -- $257,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.

What you'll do
- Contribute to the backend services that power ML and Generative-AI features across multiple Adobe products like Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Express, Stock and other applications/surfaces for Enterprise customers
- Design and architect GPU optimized ML pipelines for running models in the cloud
- Analyze and improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and stability of AI enabled workflows
- Design and implement model integration testing, and regression testing for model evaluation with refinements
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline for a suite of microservices
- Collaborate with product management, user experience and engineering groups to develop new products and features.
- Ensure a scalable, reliable cloud service with observability, logging and tracing to enable quick detection, understanding and resolution of run-time issues
- Provide production level support for customers
What you need to succeed
- At least 5 years of demonstrated ability; A Consistent track record building, optimizing and operating GPU intensive ML workloads in production environments
- Experience architecting cloud services and infrastructure for large scale use, reliability and performance
- Experience with Computer Vision models and GenAI technology including GAN, CLIP, Diffusion, MLLM, etc.
- Technology Skills: Python, ML, PyTorch, TorchServe, TensorFlow, NVIDIA Triton, ONNX, AIT, AOT, CUDA, GPU drivers, Kubernetes, AWS
- Deep understanding of model serving, conversion, optimization, compression and orchestration techniques.
- Proficient in various cloud technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
