Compensation: $250 per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Adolescent Wellness Academy is more than just a treatment center—we're a transformative space where adolescents aged 13-17 receive support for mental wellness challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance use. As a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), we blend therapeutic care with academic guidance, creating an environment where young minds can heal, grow, and succeed both emotionally and academically.
The Role:
We’re looking for an Academic Empowerment Tutor who’s passionate about making a real difference. This isn’t your typical tutoring job. You’ll be working closely with high school students enrolled in virtual school programs, helping them tackle coursework in English, Math, History, and Science. Your role is to guide, motivate, and empower students, building their academic confidence while supporting their mental wellness journey.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver focused, one-on-one, and small-group tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s needs.
- Support students with assignments in English, Math, History, and Science.
- Help students stay organized, manage deadlines, and develop effective study habits.
- Track academic progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
- Work alongside clinical staff to ensure students’ academic and emotional well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience tutoring high school students.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Math, History, and Science.
- Ability to connect with adolescents, especially those navigating mental health challenges.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
