Adolescent Wellness Academy is seeking a Part-Time Adolescent Therapist with specialized expertise in Eating Disorders to join our Miami team. This role focuses on providing targeted, evidence-based treatment for adolescents struggling with eating disorders in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual and Family Therapy: Provide specialized therapy for eating disorders, incorporating structured treatment plans addressing food-related anxieties, body image concerns, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Group Facilitation: Lead one to two eating disorder/body image-focused therapy groups, incorporating evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or Relapse Prevention.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with registered dietitians, psychiatrists, medical staff, and families to ensure a comprehensive, team-based treatment approach.
- Meal & Food Exposure Therapy: Facilitate therapeutic meal support sessions and exposure therapy to help adolescents rebuild a healthy relationship with food.
- Crisis & Risk Assessment: Monitor medical and psychological risk factors related to eating disorders, including weight stabilization, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behaviors.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and insurance guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
Licensed Clinician in Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) OR Master's-level therapist actively pursuing licensure with direct eating disorder treatment experience
Preferred Certifications: Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through IAEDP, training in CBT-E for eating disorders.
Experience in Eating Disorder Treatment Settings: PHP, IOP, or residential treatment experience preferred.
Strong Knowledge of Evidence-Based Eating Disorder Interventions: Proficiency in CBT, CBT-E, DBT for eating disorders, ACT, Intuitive Care, and Trauma-Informed Care.

Collaborative Team Player: Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary setting that includes dietitians, clinicians, and medical professionals.
Ability to Engage Adolescents: Skilled in creating an interactive, supportive, and structured group therapy environment tailored to teens.
