What is the position?
We are looking for an ambitious, highly professional, and self-directed individual who is passionate about providing excellent care to patients and supporting a fast-paced start-up company.
This individual would serve as a key, dependable member of our team and focus on providing excellent patient care via our concierge, encounter-based model. This position enables one to contribute to the Adomo standard of high-quality service and excellent patient care.
Prior Medical Assistant experience is highly recommended. Strong communication and organizational skills are the two most important qualities in a candidate for this role. A Mobile Per Diem Medical Assistant must be willing to navigate various EMR and Laboratory Service platforms, and comfortable working independently as assigned. Adomo Health will sponsor and provide a comprehensive and immersive onboarding and training process in order to ensure proficiency and competency with tasks and responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree - required
NY licensing - recommended
Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform of medical assistant responsibilities independently (after appropriate training) in various mobile locations (i.e. patient’s homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient facilities, etc.) including
- Vital Signs collection
- Venipuncture and Phlebotomy
- Laboratory specimen collection, preparation, and processing
- EKG performance
- Point-of-care collection and testing
- Document encounters in various web-based EMR platforms
- Communicate proactively and effectively with the Adomo Care Coordination center
- Attend quarterly team meetings
- Other tasks as assigned.
