Concrete Loader Operator
FT. Pierce, FL
Primary functions are to safely load plant with specified material, maintain stockpile areas and to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the plant. The Loader Operator is responsible for daily inspections of the loader and is expected to work with outside equipment service suppliers to keep the equipment in good working order.
· Load the bins at the plant with the corresponding aggregates (sand, stone 57, pearock and any other required in production)
· Load the dump trucks with mud (wash out).
· Remove the mud continuously during the day (start and end of daily operations)
· Receive and stack aggregates in designated bins
· Handle aggregates properly to prevent contamination in the yard and ensure quality conditions (keep them well separated, report, in a timely manner, if any contaminated dump truck arrives and any other situation that may alter the quality of the aggregates, maintain area clean)
· Support the yardman with the cleaning activities in the yard
· Perform the cleaning of the pools of the yard and maintain the appropriate level according to company procedure
· Conduct daily inspection of the good condition and proper functioning of the front loader, and complete appropriate report sheet
· Report any malfunction or defective equipment by using the daily control form
· Provide maintenance to the front loader according to company procedure thus ensuring that it is in good working and cleaning conditions (lubricated) by completing the appropriate format
· Follow safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
