There is a potential need for a Field Operations Leader; where you will lead multiple field crews within an assigned territory, ensuring safety, quality, and operational success. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining Arizona’s highways as clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Your Role and Responsibilities
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead by example, inspire others, and take ownership of operational outcomes. As a Field Operations Manager, you will:
Leadership and Team Management
- Oversee multiple Crew Supervisors, ensuring they meet daily operational goals and uphold company standards.
- Conduct regular audits of field operations to enforce safety, quality, and performance benchmarks.
- Provide ongoing coaching and actionable feedback to supervisors and crew members.
Operational Oversight
- Develop and manage crew schedules to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Address operational challenges, implement corrective measures, and proactively improve processes.
- Monitor compliance with company guidelines, ensuring flawless execution of all tasks.
- Oversee the allocation, maintenance, and inventory of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring availability, compliance, and cost efficiency. Proactively address repair or replacement needs and track associated expenses to align with budgetary guidelines.
Training and Development
- Lead training sessions for new and existing team members, focusing on safety, operational procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Crew Supervisors to onboard new hires, creating a strong foundation for their success.
Safety and Compliance
- Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing strict adherence to protocols.
- Hold safety meetings with Field Supervisors to educate and reinforce company and industry standards.
- Perform safety reviews and manage post-incident follow-ups to ensure continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison with AHMC leadership and support team to address compliance matters and maintain strong partnerships.
Reporting and Data Management
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, audits, and incident reports.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Share updates and reports with the Vice President, Operations and Operations team to support informed decision-making.
What You Bring to the Role
We’re looking for proactive leaders with the following qualifications:
- Experience in field operations, team supervision, or highway maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and operational best practices and an unwavering commitment to hold yourself and the team accountable.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within your assigned territory.
