As a Field Supervisor, you'll lead from the front, making a visible difference in the community every day.
Your Role: A Leadership Opportunity in the Field
This isn’t just a management position—it’s an opportunity to lead, coordinate operations, and contribute to environmental sustainability. As a Field Supervisor, you will:
- Lead a Crew: Supervise, coach, and manage a crew of three, fostering teamwork, accountability, and efficiency.
- Optimize Field Operations: Plan and execute daily litter removal routes using GPS and digital tools to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- Prioritize Safety: Conduct pre-shift safety meetings, enforce compliance with NCDOT and OSHA safety regulations, and create a zero-incident work environment.
- Deliver Results: Track and report progress through digital applications, ensure timely completion of work, and manage timecards for your team.
- Work Hands-On: Assist your crew in the field, drive to work sites, oversee operations, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
What You Bring to the Role
You’re a results-driven leader who thrives in hands-on environments. To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role—industry experience is not required, but a track record of leading teams to success is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use smartphones, GPS tools, apps, and software like Microsoft Office or Google Maps for navigation and reporting.
- Commitment to Safety: Strong understanding of workplace safety practices, especially in highway or construction environments.
- Physical Endurance: Ability to walk 3–5 miles per day, lift up to 50 lbs., and sit for extended periods while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with North Carolina highways and NCDOT safety standards (preferred, but not required).
- Experience with payroll tools such as ADP (preferred).
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish (a plus, but not required).
