What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parents and children together (PACT) worker position at Adoption Option Inc?
This position is responsible for assessing and case planning for the families and children assigned. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours, to meet the needs of families.
This position reports directly to the Family Preservation Program (FPP) Supervisor and is under the general supervision of the Family Preservation Program (FPP) Manager.
Responsibilities:
Arrange and schedule parent/child visitation times.
Supervise parent/child visitation times.
Complete required reports timely.
Complete required trainings.
Give Court testimony if requested.
Transportation of the children or parent(s) to and from the visit when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent.
Experience: Two years of experience working with families and children around issues such as parenting, childcare, household management, nutrition or budgeting.
Other Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
Excellent assessment skills.
Prior experience with Microsoft Office or other processing applications/programs.
Satisfactory verification of criminal/abuse checks.
Satisfactory verification of sex offender registry check.
Valid unrestricted driver's license and proof of insurance.
Reliable transportation.
