Qualifications:
- PADI/SSI/NAUI Open Water Diver Certification or higher
- Proficient in team environments, with a genuine passion for SCUBA diving.
- Strong customer service ethos is essential.
- Minimum 1-year sales experience in retail or in a customer facing position.
- Availability to work Sundays and occasional holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Work in our Manhattan dive shop selling scuba gear, travel, lessons, and services to our local customer base.
- Provide educated customer service and gear advice to shoppers in-store.
- Help to maintain store displays and shelves.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas of improvement in our retail environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
The hourly rate of pay for this role is $22.50. The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience. This position is eligible for a commission based off sales and business needs.
