Adoration Home Health is currently seeking a full time Eligibility Coordinator in Tennessee. This is a remote role, and is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills while supporting a top home health provider in the region!

- Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service to our professional staff and insurance representatives
- Run and utilize computer reports regularly
- Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information
- Provide accurate, complete updates to Agency management on status of Insurance Eligibility for all patients
- Ensures that Insurance Eligibility is obtained and documented for all patients
- Is responsible for seeing that objectives are implemented, follows, and promotes agency policies and procedures
- Ensure that all eligibility responses are documented clearly
- Participate in the orientation and education of other employees as relates to Eligibility department
- Observes confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information
- Notifies Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and works to help provide solutions
- Completes ongoing education requirements and demonstrates ongoing competency in required areas
- Other duties as assigned
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices
- General knowledge of the framework, organization, and function of home care
- Sound knowledge of health care operations and third-party reimbursement
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications
- Solid organizational skills, thoroughness, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing effectively
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
