Landscape Crew Lead

ADP Lawn Mowing & Property Maintenance, Inc. provides premier lawn and landscape services around the Rochester, NY. We are currently in search of a landscape crew lead. We are looking for a hard-working individual that is reliable, timely, passionate about the industry, a team player and comes to work with a positive attitude.

Job tasks mainly include (but not limited to):

• Reading job plans and executing jobs effectively and efficiently.
• Managing a landscape crew and staying on schedule.
• Operating a mini excavator and compact track loader/skid steer to complete, grading work, landscape projects, and hardscape projects.
• Experience safely driving a truck and trailer (Holding a Class A or B license is a plus).
• Installing paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, plantings, softscapes, landscape lighting and other similar jobs tasks.
• Each morning you’ll load your equipment and materials, including brick saws, tampers, hand tools, machines, and other tools you’ll need to complete your projects for the day.
• Each evening you’ll perform basic cleaning and maintenance on your tools, including stocking up on supplies, etc. so you’re ready to get moving the next morning.
• Driving company trucks and trailers with equipment.
• You’ll ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in landscape management.
• Knowledge of landscape plantings, trees, and techniques.
• Problem solving abilities to be able to address any problems that come about on the job site.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and communicate effectively to a team and clients.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
