Role Overview:
The Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and best practices. This role involves leading Salesforce architecture, ensuring system integration, and guiding development teams to build high-performing and secure Salesforce environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture
- Salesforce Strategy & Roadmap: Define and implement the overall Salesforce architecture to meet business needs and scalability.
- Technical Architecture: Design robust, secure, and scalable Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Data Model & Integration: Architect scalable data models and integrations with external systems using MuleSoft, REST, SOAP, and APIs.
- Customization & Development: Oversee and guide development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, role-based access controls, and compliance with industry standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC2.
Salesforce Implementation & Optimization
- Multi-Cloud & Cross-Platform Solutions: Lead Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.
- DevOps & CI/CD for Salesforce: Implement version control, automated deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce DX.
- Performance Tuning & Monitoring: Optimize Salesforce performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Governance & Best Practices: Define and enforce coding standards, documentation, and Salesforce governance frameworks.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Team Mentorship: Guide Salesforce developers and admins, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous learning.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 8 years in Salesforce development/architecture, with at least 3 years as a Salesforce Architect.
- Salesforce Expertise: Deep knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Flows.
- Integration & Middleware: Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, databases, and third-party applications using APIs, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
- Security & Compliance: Expertise in OAuth, SAML, SSO, and Salesforce Shield for security and governance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, or Integration Architect.
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein Analytics, AI, or Tableau CRM.
- Knowledge of AI-powered Salesforce solutions like Einstein GPT or predictive analytics.
