Promotional Products & Branded Merchandise Inside Sales Support

Summary of Responsibilities

The promotional products and branded merchandise inside sales support is responsible for assisting various sales representatives with sourcing promotional products that meet their customer’s needs.

Essential Duties

The promotional products and branded merchandise inside sales support plays a vital role in the Company. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include:

„ Provide top quality service and support to our team of sales representatives on all presale activities

„ Meet with sales team and customers to assess marketing and promotional needs

„ Provide creative selling ideas, current with trends in the industry

„ Provide competitive pricing through research and negotiation with multiple vendors to present the best product options for customers promotional needs and specifications

„ Coordinate art proofing process

„ Perform order follow through with all involved parties from start to completion of job

„ Verify all costs involved in promotional orders including shipping and set up fees, prior to the order being processed

„ Manage and rectify any order issues in a timely and professional matter

„ Places customer orders through online vendor or other ordering systems, including payments to vendors as needed

Other Duties

The promotional products and branded merchandise inside sales support has additional ongoing functional responsibilities, including:

„ Makes payments to vendors as needed and completes appropriate internal paperwork

„ Provides customer service support

Skills and Abilities

Based on the essential and other duties and responsibilities of the position, the promotional products and branded merchandise inside sales support should have a number of professional skills and abilities:

„ Familiarity with sourcing, purchasing, sales and negotiating

„ Ability to source products through ASI software, SAGE software and thorough internet searches

„ Good interpersonal and customer service skills, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with internal and external clients

„ Strong organizational and problem solving ability

„ Strong computer skills

„ Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

„ The ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stress

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements

Based on the technical and professional responsibilities of the position, the promotional products and branded merchandise inside sales support required to have:

„ A bachelor’s degree in a related field

„ A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position, or

„ An equivalent combination of education and experience

„ Proficient in Microsoft Office products, online vendor ordering systems

Physical and Environmental

The promotional products and branded merchandise inside sales support is primarily located in a climate-controlled office environment. Physical requirements include:

„ Using computer hardware and software for extended periods of time (repetitive motion)

„ Sitting for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
