JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the graphic design elements that support ADRC brand and provides accessible images and language for all audiences. Supports and implements the social media, public relations, communication, and marketing activities of the agency.
Essential DutiesMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing and Design
Create and design various materials for print and digital platforms including magazine, brochures, flyers, presentations, print ads, digital ads, social media, videos, and more.
Create and update content for monthly ADRC magazine including sourcing content from internal and external sources and uploading to vendor portal.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
Support and implement agency communication strategy to promote and publicize agency news, activities and successes through all communication platforms including media outlets, print, web, video, social media, and outreach.
Construct monthly social media content calendar including content creation, copy, design, and scheduling.
Design, update, and send monthly e-newsletters to targeted groups.
Supports ADRC website, including design, functionality, accuracy, effectiveness, and usefulness for ADRC audiences.
Provides content creation support with photography, video filming, editing and/or digital design.
Assures agency information and materials are available and accessible for special needs populations the agency serves.
Support and work with team to evaluate results of communication campaigns.
Provide support to staff as needed, related to the use of communication platforms.
General
Participates in the work setting as a team player.
Attends and participates in staff development programs, including in-service training and staff meetings.
Complies with applicable federal and state laws, administrative rules, established agency procedures and accepted professional standards.
Advocates for issues that impact seniors and/or adults with disabilities; represents their concerns within the community; informs consumers of programs and legislative issues that affect them.
Has a “Duty to Report” during a community emergency/disaster according to the ADRC Emergency Preparedness Plan.
Adheres to privacy and confidentiality policies regarding consumer and/or personnel information.
Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications RequiredMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and Experience:
Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication or similar field; and/or 2 years of experience in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully meet the responsibilities of the position.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and a satisfactory motor vehicle record, preferred
CPR/AED Certification. preferred
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Exceptional knowledge of design principles and practices, marketing, and promotion.
Advanced in desktop publishing for graphic design and production particularly with Adobe Creative Suite applications including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Advanced knowledge of web design and content production particularly with WordPress application.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements.
Strong photography and video editing skill.
Knowledge of federal, state and county laws, regulations, requirements, and policy that impacts agency communications
Ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
Ability to organize and manage complex multifaceted projects.
Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of types of persons and settings, both individually and in groups.
Ability to understand and practice the confidential nature of the position.
Ability to deal with difficult situations in a respectful and tactful manner.
Ability to work under generally safe and comfortable conditions where exposure to environmental factors such as irate individuals, violence and/or crisis may cause discomfort and poses a limited risk of injury.
