Our organization is currently seeking an Inventory Obsolescence Specialist.
A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Facilitate the obsolescence process ' including compiling lists from multiple sources, understanding impact, gaining approvals, and final disposal of product for all Adrian Steel locations
- Facilitating cross-functional team meetings to support the obsolescence process
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and product structures
- Drive waste out of processes & support continuous improvement projects for Adrian Steel Inventory processes
- Complete tasks accurately and timely
- Support inventory analysis, month-end reporting, and year-end count and audit
- Assure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, variance analysis, and follow-up.
- Responsible for product structure cost reviews
- Some travel may be required

- Bachelor's degree in Business preferred. Associates Degree in Business required. Minimum five years of experience in Inventory Management will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
- Coursework or background in inventory management preferred
- Experience in lean principles, with a focus in manufacturing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office, Email and Calendar skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred
- Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a 'Driver' as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
