Our organization is currently seeking an Inventory Obsolescence Specialist.

A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Facilitate the obsolescence process ' including compiling lists from multiple sources, understanding impact, gaining approvals, and final disposal of product for all Adrian Steel locations
• Facilitating cross-functional team meetings to support the obsolescence process
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and product structures
• Drive waste out of processes & support continuous improvement projects for Adrian Steel Inventory processes
• Complete tasks accurately and timely
• Support inventory analysis, month-end reporting, and year-end count and audit
• Assure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, variance analysis, and follow-up.
• Responsible for product structure cost reviews
• Some travel may be required

Education Required For This Role

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred. Associates Degree in Business required. Minimum five years of experience in Inventory Management will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Coursework or background in inventory management preferred
• Experience in lean principles, with a focus in manufacturing preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Email and Calendar skills
• Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred

• Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a 'Driver' as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
• Valid driver's license
