We’re seeking a Content Editor & Community Manager to join our growing marketing team. This hybrid role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a knack for editing, and a talent for building and nurturing online communities.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring our content is clear, accurate, and aligned with our brand voice — while also engaging with our online audience to build trust, boost retention, and spark meaningful conversations around insurance and risk management.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Editing & Creation (60%)- Edit, proofread, and optimize blog posts, articles, newsletters, and website content for grammar, clarity, tone, and SEO.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to translate technical insurance content into user-friendly language.
- Maintain and update content calendars in alignment with campaigns, seasonal trends, and business goals.
- Ensure brand voice and regulatory compliance across all content formats.
- Write content as needed — including microcopy, FAQs, and social captions.
- Manage and grow our presence on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, professional manner.
- Develop strategies to increase engagement and brand loyalty among current and prospective clients.
- Organize and moderate online discussions, webinars, and Q&A sessions.
- Track community insights and feedback to share with internal teams and inform content strategy
- 3 years of experience in content editing, community management, or related roles (insurance or finance industry a plus).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media trends.
- Comfortable using tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, Hootsuite/Buffer, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to balance creativity with compliance in a regulated industry.
