Summary
We are seeking an Technology Support Specialist to join our team at Adriel School, Inc. This position is responsible for assisting with implementing and maintaining secure, reliable, and innovative technology systems. This role is vital in supporting the agency’s cloud-first environment, enhancing infrastructure, digitizing records, and providing hands-on support to staff across multiple departments.
Responsiblities
- Provide technical support for staff using Google Workspace, Nextiva phone systems, and department-specific platforms such as extendedReach, Accufund, and Paylocity.
- Maintain documentation and track compliance with HIPAA and agency technology use policies.
- Assist in implementing proactive hardware and software maintenance schedules to support infrastructure reliability.
- Support the transition and secure disposal of legacy paper records during agency-wide digitization efforts.
- Aid in the completion of the cloud migration strategy by helping move systems to secure cloud platforms and ensuring compatibility.
- Manage and monitor networking equipment (e.g., Ubiquiti UniFi), printers, and end-user devices, including Chromebooks and Intel laptops.
- Conduct or coordinate staff onboarding technology training and annual cybersecurity compliance reviews.
- Enforce role-based access and two-factor authentication protocols for enhanced information security.
Education/Experience
The position requires an associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous experience in a non-profit, healthcare, or child services environment is a plus.
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with networking systems, VoIP phones, and device management.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently and prioritize tasks.
- Experience with systems such as extendedReach, SACWIS, Accufund, and Paylocity.
- Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant technology practices and disaster recovery protocols.
- Ability to train staff and provide user-friendly tech support.
- Understanding of technology privacy and internet use policies in organizational settings.
- Empathy for the goals and practices of a church related child care agency.
- Have sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the children, young adults and families served by Adriel.
