JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operations Assistant is an experienced, reliable and task-oriented individual. The Operations Manager will support the Adrift Campus General Manager in daily business operations, as well as being responsible for performing a number of other operational and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is flexible, willing to jump in wherever needed, professional, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Manager will collaborate with the GM and Department Managers in researching new retail products, new menu items, and maintaining Vendor relationships as needed.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships with managers and staff to better understand the needs of the teams, departments and communicate with leadership to improve the company culture
- Maintain operational proficiency and ability to provide support as needed in each department on property
- Assist with invoice reconciliation and approval
- Maintain current Vendor relationships, research new Vendors that adhere to our Company’s Values, place orders, and audit current products for revenue saving opportunities
- Collaborate with the GM, Kitchen Manager, and Events Manager in the execution of Catered Events and the booking of Corporate Retreats
- Along with management team, be responsible for creating a positive work environment, being a good leader, and fostering a teamwork mentality
- Respond to all Hotel and Restaurant Guest reviews across various online platforms and report trends, patterns and concerns to General Manager
- Update business information on various online platforms as needed
- Facilitate the dissemination of the Live Music Booking Agent’s schedule to Staff and Guests, and operate as Point of Contact for all musical performers before, during, and after their performances.
- Maintain/continue to develop Music Playlists and Music Software Programs
- Maintain and perform monthly inventories in various departments
- Other duties as assigned by the GM

REQUIREMENTS
- Work on property 35-40 hours per week.
- Respond to slack/emails/company communications in a timely manner each day you work.
- Clearly and appropriately escalate and communicate issues through correct channels.
- Deescalate issues as they arise (staff and guests)
- Arrive on property on time and ready for your shifts.
- Continuously pursue personal growth with the support of the company.
- At all times communicate in a respectful manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Restaurant or hotel experience required.
- Knowledgeable with various restaurant/hotel systems preferred: PMS, CRM, POS, OpenTable
- Must possess exceptional listening and relationship skills.
- Must possess strong leadership skills.
- Ability to take charge and lead a team as needed.
- Responsible and detail oriented.
- Good communication skills.
- Drivers License and reliable transportation required.
- Must be well organized.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes.
- Able to lift and carry linens/items up to 30lbs.
