About You
You are a motivated and experienced Electronic Security Systems Engineer supporting an established client base with security design, construction projects, and managed services. You will be responsible for managing the full electronic security systems life cycle to include assessment, design, project management, construction administration, commissioning, and managed services. Electronic security systems include access control, video surveillance and intrusion alarms.
Responsibilities
- Daily management of various Access Control and Video Management Systems
- Work collaboratively with the ADRM Team, Client, IT Departments, End Users, and Systems Integrator to ensure successful implementation and functionality of systems
- Daily management of service tickets from creation to completion, including an inspection of work performed
- Prepare reports on system health and availability
- Perform tests to ensure systems are functioning properly
- Participate in all client calls and/or meetings
- Client support on-call rotation as needed
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to maintain the client priority list and track the progress of critical path items
- Interact with clients’ various internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve security design goals and standards
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security system guidelines and standards
- Serve as Physical Security Design Consultant on multidisciplinary teams conducting site visits including pre-construction assessments
- Responsible for designing complex, integrated, and effective security systems within an existing enterprise environment
- Develop project construction documents and security scope of work
- Effectively manage client expectations and security contractor deliverables
- Provide commissioning and punch list services
- Assist with developing As-Built drawings based on commissioning findings and security contractor reports
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or better in Emergency Management or related field preferred
- Experience using various access control and video management solutions
- Experience with Windows OS Management, Active Directory, Networking, Firewalls are a plus
- Ability to perform within a complex and established environment
- 3 required years of experience working with access control systems
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam application experience are a plus
- Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
- Hard working and dedicated to absolute customer satisfaction
- Ability to maintain professional and positive behavior
- Ability to focus for long periods of time
- Ability to walk long distances during site visits and commissioning
- Able to pass a comprehensive background check

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
