Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Developer with strong expertise in Workday Extend to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and extending functionality within the Workday platform to meet the evolving business needs of our organization.
As a Workday Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, and Financial systems, to design and implement custom solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing Workday applications. Your expertise in Workday Extend will be crucial for building applications that enhance the capabilities of Workday's core system, improving operational efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Workday Extend.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Customize and extend Workday’s functionality to support HR, Payroll, and Financial system processes.
Ensure seamless integration of Workday applications with third-party and internal systems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on Workday Extend best practices and solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday Extend and other Workday applications.
Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new features and integrations.
Collaborate with other developers and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Workday Developer.
Proven experience with Workday Extend, including development of custom applications.
Strong understanding of Workday’s core modules (HR, Payroll, Financials).
Proficiency in building integrations with third-party systems using Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and REST APIs.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday Integration Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of Workday security and business process framework.
Experience with Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and EIBs.
- GitHub or other version control systems experience is a plus.
