Quality Safety Supervisor

We are looking for a Quality & Safety Supervisor to enhance our quality control processes and safety protocols. This role will lead efforts to uphold the highest product quality standards while ensuring compliance with API and ISO regulations. The Quality and Safety Manager will also ensure the organization meets all quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

• Ensure all products, processes, and systems comply with API standards and DNV & ABS certifications.
• Stay updated on API standards and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Manage QA/HSE initiatives and regulatory certifications.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and operations teams to improve quality and safety.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the quality team to ensure third-party vendors meet product standards.
• Work with procurement and supply chain to evaluate supplier quality.
• Provide training on API standards and quality processes.
• Ensure adherence to API quality requirements across all personnel.
• Maintain documentation of quality processes, audits, and compliance.
• Generate compliance and performance reports.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Implement quality metrics and KPIs to track progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise the Quality department and perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Minimum of 3 years managing a quality management system, preferably under ISO and API licenses.
• Preferred certifications in quality management, occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH), and environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand, walk and occasionally lift or move items in a production environment.
• Exposure to typical manufacturing environments includes noise, temperature variations and heavy equipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or 15 years experience in a quality position
• 3 years managing a quality management system, preferably operating under ISO and API licenses.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret quality and product, material, manufacturing, and engineering related documents.
• Must possess a thorough knowledgeable of API & ISO requirements
• Product knowledge.
• Good oral and written communications, able to prepare reports and communicate with management
• Proficient with quality systems, MS Office products.
• Must be skilled at employee relationships.
