Summary:
The Threat Intelligence Analyst will help identify, prioritize, and mitigate cybersecurity risks to ADT by analyzing both internal threat detection data and third-party intelligence. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Intelligence Collection & Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret cyber threat intelligence from a variety of sources, including internal security tools, commercial feeds, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and threat intelligence providers. Direct threat detection and engineering efforts based on intel and trends. - Threat Actor Profiling: Categorize and contextualize threat actors targeting ADT and related industries, providing insights into their motivations, capabilities, and prioritizing response actions.
- Breach Simulation & Scenario Development: Inform breach simulation exercises and develop intelligence-driven scenarios for tabletop exercises based on real-world TTPs.
- Threat Intelligence Integration: Integrate external intelligence from providers like Recorded Future, Palo Alto, and Mandiant into ADT's security operations to enhance defense mechanisms.
- Collaboration & Information Sharing: Engage in information-sharing forums such as InfraGard and ISACs to collaborate on threat trends and emerging risks.
- Pattern Detection & Protective Advice: Identify patterns in threat actor activity and provide strategic cyber and protective security advice to the business.
- Intelligence Gap Management: Assess gaps in threat intelligence and explore open-source and commercial intelligence services to augment existing sources.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
2 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or related field. - Skills:
Strong understanding of cyber threats, TTPs, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEMs, and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. - Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
- GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Other relevant cybersecurity certifications
- Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
