AdTech Ceramics specializes in custom manufacturing of strong, durable, and precise microelectronic ceramics. AdTech currently has an opening for a Quality Auditor at the Chattanooga, TN location. AdTech Ceramics is AS9100D and NADCAP certified.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or GED preferred.
- Inspection experience preferred.
- General, working knowledge of machines/special tools required to effectively perform job functions
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Possess positive attitude and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a teamwork setting; considerate of co-workers.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend both oral and written instructions
- Computer literate with data entry skills
- Possess basic math skills
- Recommended vision corrected to 20/20 with good color perception (contact lens not allowed in plant).
- Possess good eye/hand coordination
- Must be able to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
- Capable of using analytical and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the safe and dimensional evaluation and testing of manufactured and purchased products in compliance with all safety regulations, as well as documented specifications.
2. Responsible for performing audits and certifying parts for shipment, which may include electrical testing, dimensional checking, matching product to prints, typing certifications, data sheet completion, creating histograms, leak testing, dye testing, solder dipping, and heat testing.
3. Responsible for maintaining accurate records using manual and computer methods.
4. Understands and interprets drawing/blueprint specifications, as well as inspection test documents.
5. Responsible for proper maintenance of equipment, adherence to dress codes and proper handling of product.
6. Learns and performs all job functions within the department as required.
7. Refers questions and problems to higher levels.
8. Considers the impact on quality, production and processes when performing operations.
9. Trains others and assumes a guidance role relative to the Quality Control functions after on the job training.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1. Regular in attendance and punctual in reporting for work.
2. Able and willing to work any shift of a three-shift schedule, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.
3. Operates an internal, computer-based documentation system.
4. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and assists co-workers in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
5. Performs other duties as required in the assigned department or other department when requested by the Supervisor or Manager.
6. Trains and/or assists other employees when required.
7. Reports to the supervisor, manager, and/or EHS director any safety violations that do or do not pose an immediate danger and takes the necessary steps to correct the problem violation when appropriate.
8. Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
9. Complies with company policies and procedures.
