We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Architect to join our team and lead residential and multi-family architectural projects from concept to permit approval. This role requires expertise in SketchUp or other CAD software on a Mac, a strong background in residential and multi-family design, and at least 10 years of architectural experience. A license is not required, but deep knowledge of California building codes and permitting processes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit permit drawings for residential and multi-family projects.
• Develop project designs and documentation.
• Oversee project coordination, ensuring compliance with zoning, building codes, and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, engineers, and city officials throughout the approval process.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables efficiently.
• Stay informed on ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) regulations.
• Work two days per week in person to collaborate with the team.
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience in residential or multi-family architecture.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or other CAD software on a Mac.
• Strong understanding of building codes, permitting, and zoning laws in California.
• Experience coordinating with city planning departments and permit offices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Compensation:
• $75 – $100 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
