Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Draftsman with a strong background in multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly skilled in drafting software, and capable of producing high-quality architectural drawings that meet all relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed architectural drawings and plans for multifamily projects, including ADUs and MDUs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
- Review and interpret project specifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including permit applications and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior draftsmen and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural drafting, with a focus on multifamily projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
