Job Description:
Under the supervision of the System Director, Data Analytics, the Data Analyst Team Lead is instrumental in enhancing data management, analysis and team productivity. They collaborate on data structure, planning and design, define data requests, and exhibit expert skills in analytics and programming. Providing day-to-day direction, the lead fosters a safe environment for effective problem-solving, provides technology leadership, and supports team collaboration. They assess work quality, prioritize tasks, contribute to strategic planning, and oversee long-term data projects. Additionally, the lead conducts onboarding, communicates team performance and fulfills other duties within professional guidelines and ethics.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate on data structure, planning, design, and enhancements.
Assist in defining data requests’ purpose for the team and stakeholders.
Exhibit expert skills in analytic tools and programming languages.
Create and maintain stored procedures to simplify data evaluation and reporting.
Build and distribute visualizations and reports.
Foster a safe and trusting environment for effective problem-solving.
Provide technology leadership and ongoing skills training.
Provides support and collaborates with team members on projects.
Assess Data Analysts’ work quality and accuracy.
Prioritize tasks/tickets for team members.
Assist in developing the strategic plan for the Data Analytics department.
Monitor efficiency and timely completion of tasks/tickets.
Communicate the team’s performance to the organization.
Lead planning of long term/complex data and reporting projects.
Conduct onboarding training for new team members.
Brief pre-screening of applicants and provide input for team members’ annual performance evaluations
Function in accordance with Operational Guidelines and within professional code of ethics.
Participates in staff development activities.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
5 years applicable experience
Expert SQL, Excel, Tableau, Crystal or similar business analytic program skills.

Employment Requirements:
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.
Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements:
