Adult and Teen Challenge is a Christ Centered organization that is driven to put HOPE within Reach for our clients. We have a new outpatient clinic opening in Clackamas county that will be offering Substance Use Disorder and Mental heath treatment for those in the community. .
We are looking for a Co-occurring Counselor to join our team and provide support to our clients with mental health and addiction issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions, monitoring client growth , and providing education about addiction focused interventions. This position requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of addiction, and the ability to work with a diverse client population.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document client‘s progress
- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans for clients
- Provide crisis intervention when needed.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $34.39 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
