What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Education FTIC Lead Jamestown, IN (PT W/R 2:15-5:15) position at Adult Basic Education (ABE)?
Reporting Structure:
The FTIC Campus Leads reports to the Data Lead and Coordinator.
Performance Agreement:
The FTIC Campus Leads will perform all aspects of the communicated job description. This employee will effectively meet the contractual and performance expectations of the MSD of Wayne Township. Formal performance evaluation will be conducted annually.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Holds monthly meetings with FTIC HR and leadership to track needs and share successes.
- Sets an orientation meeting to work on class rosters and IT testing with the Data Lead.
- Establishes Teacher Training with FTIC Management per the calendar.
- Set up Course information in connectable and Inters
- Leads the registration process for students – fully seating all classes with registration staff;
- Oversees the effective management of registration reporting procedures to teachers, data and registration;
- Prepares and presents a student orientation slides establishing program expectations and support;
- Monitors classroom attendance and ensures follow up calls are conducted;
- Files documents in Connectable and tracks student achievements;
- Serves as a life coach activities of equipping students with resources and addressing barriers for housing, food, income, health, child care, addictions, mental health, legal, transportation, disabilities, immigration, and employment.
- Monitors curriculum and instruction ensuring an outstanding classroom experience;
- Monitors teacher data for progression, missing test, and students that need extra assistance;
- Brokers in a resource fair including NPO and employers;
- Provides outreach to represents the program at key community events and presentations;
- Works with teachers on accommodation plans and pull out groups;
- Knowledgeable about all distance learning systems with ability to solve issue with the para;
- Assigns work duties to the para and instructional team as needed;
- Support all students, teachers, life coaches, staff of the respective program;
- Communicates IT needs to Office Lead;
- Communicates performance, data and testing needs to Data Lead;
- Communicates security and funding needs to Coordinator;
- Communicates quarterly reports to Coordinator, Data Lead and Host Organization;
- Makes staff aware of safety procedures and protocols;
- Maintains critical documents including a Google Calendar, Security, Host Classroom Teachers, Custodial, IT, Security, and Principal/Director contacts in the Other Campus Drives.
- Provide additional duties as assigned or approved by the Coordinator of WTAE.
