Adult & Child Health is an integrated healthcare provider in Central Indiana. About this role : Psychiatry / MAT APRNs will provide patient focused, comprehensive, psychiatric and MAT care to under-resourced patients within A&C’s community health centers. With a whole health care model in mind, the APRN will work collaboratively with other A&C team members to effectively assess and treat A&C Health patients through direct care, consultation, and / or referral.
The Location and hours : A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the surrounding counties. You will work Monday - Friday core hours with possible exceptions as needed.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care to A&C patients regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, or medical illness
- Evaluate, assess, and recommend appropriate treatment for patients including but not limited to medications, lab orders, and referrals
- Evaluate and treat patients both in the clinics face-to-face and through telehealth
- Analyze and interpret referral reports, laboratory results, and medical records to diagnose medical conditions of patients and propose treatment options
- Prescribe and administer (when necessary in the clinic) medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions
- Prescribe MAT (including Suboxone) to patients
- Demonstrate a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles and sensitivity to diverse patient populations
