Title: Adult & Community Education Program Assistant Director
Position Summary: Share responsibility with the Director on all functions of the program, including planning and producing the classes, recruiting new instructors, designing and producing the brochure twice yearly in print, online, and social media platforms, managing class registrations, and payment to instructors. Updating and revising the Adult Ed website, social media platforms, and promoting upcoming classes. On-site coordination of classes during the evenings.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
*Work with the Director on all functions of the program: planning and producing classes, recruiting new instructors, designing and producing marketing brochure twice yearly in print and loading into the online registration system
*Administer fall and spring programs for community members
*Manage student registrations
*Schedule and manage room use, greet new students, update and revise website
*On-site coordination of classes
*Market upcoming classes on Facebook’s Sudbury Bulletin Board and other social media pages and platforms
*Monitor and post news to Facebook
*Market relevant classes to Sudbury Public Schools families via various online platforms/social media outlets (FB, Instagram, etc.)
*Manage instructor contracts and payroll
*Perform other similar or related duties, as required, or as the situation dictates

Qualifications:
*College degree, preferred
*Strong organizational skills and computer skills
*Strong oral and written communications skills
Experience:
*Customer service experience
*Eleyo package software experience
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Work independently and manage multiple tasks
*Interact with community members, school staff and administration
*Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
*Maintain confidential information
*Maintain, manage, and organize records

Work Schedule:
*School-year position with occasional summer tasks
*Flexible, days and evenings
*Varied hours, averaging 10-15 hrs/week spanning approximately 40 weeks throughout the year
Reports to: Adult & Community Education Director
Compensation:
*Compensation stipend is paid from the end of August through the end of June and is dependent on program fund balance amounts with an estimated range of $10,000 - $12,000 depending on experience level
